In this introductory lesson, you’ll learn who a concept artist is. We’ll find out how the job of a concept artist is different from the job of an illustrator and a traditional artist. We’ll focus on the importance of idea-generating and artistic skills in work, as well as have a look at the techniques used to create concept art. Moreover, you’ll learn the stages of the work of a concept artist on a project on the examples from our animated short.
