程序 SHAPE-THIN 可以与软件 RFEM 和 RSTAB 相连接：用户可以选择通过 RFEM 和 RSTAB 数据库由 SHAPE-THIN 创建的截面，相反，也可以在 SHAPE-THIN 中读入 RFEM 和 RSTAB 计算的内力并且验算截面。

用户可以通过图形、表格或者由 DXF 格式的文件导入截面。

SHAPE-THIN is a professional, user-friendly program for the analysis and design of thin-walled cross-sections. The stand-alone module is based on the effective program concept of the RSTAB and RFEM software family. For example, the user is able to exchange different sectional elements between individual SHAPE files with drag & drop. At the same time, the internal forces and moments of member elements can be taken from any RSTAB or RFEM structure. It is also possible to directly export the section properties to MS Excel for addi-tional editing.
